GG Paddock Care was founded in 2020 by my husband, Glen Stone and myself, Gina from Bransgore in the New Forest. We are both born and bred in the New Forest area, and have extensive knowledge of land maintenance and farming practices. Glen had trained at Sparsholt Agricultural College, and I have had horses all my life, thus giving us an excellent basis for our business.

Our experience had shown that getting contractors to work on the smaller areas of land, particularly equine land, was not easy and gave us the idea of setting up GG Paddock Care.

GG Paddock Care may only be a small business, but as our slogan says “ We can do what the big boys can’t”. We have an extensive range of implements to deal with all aspects of paddock maintenance and management.

We operate a 40hp Deutz Fahr Agrikid tractor, which is an ideal size to get through gateways as small as 6 foot. Our machinery is small enough to get into those tight corners and get up close to the fence line. We aim our services at the equestrian with acreage from 0.5 acre up to 10 acres. Operating on an “appointment only” basis, means that you know when GG Paddock Care will be with you, on which day and at what time. None of this waiting around to see when someone may turn up today, or if at all. We’ve all been there when the local farmer has told us that they will be in next Tuesday, but don’t actually say which Tuesday. Equine landowners are often pushed down to the end of the work list, and then in the end they don’t turn up at all. Similarly, the farmer turns up and he can’t get in because the equipment is too big.

We offer a friendly, bespoke service at a competitive rate, and give advice on what you would need to produce excellent, healthy grazing for your horse or pony. We try to be as helpful as possible, and often go above and beyond in helping our customers. We aim to provide you with a happy and healthy best friend.
